Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of portfol.site(the “Service”) operated by us (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

For questions about these Terms, you can contact us by email at dovyr.websites@gmail.com.

2. The Service

portfol.site provides tools to create, edit, and publish personal portfolio pages, including optional paid features such as additional pages and visitor analytics, as described on the website at the time you use the Service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

4. Plans, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees, billing cycles, and plan limits are shown on the site (for example on the pricing page). Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled. You may manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing options we provide in the product (for example Stripe Customer Portal), where available.

Taxes may apply based on your location and applicable law; they may be collected or invoiced as required by us or our payment processor.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or enter (text, images, links, layout data, and similar). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (including publishing portfolios you choose to make public).

You represent that you have the rights necessary for your content and that it does not violate applicable law or these Terms. You are responsible for backups of important material; we recommend keeping copies outside the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
  • infringe others' intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or underlying systems;
  • interfere with or overload the Service (for example by automated scraping beyond reasonable API or browser use).

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these rules.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and design (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or trade dress except the limited right to use the Service as offered.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on infrastructure and processors such as Supabase, Stripe, and Vercel. Their terms and policies may apply to you in addition to ours where you interact with them directly (for example when paying through Stripe).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not legally permitted (including mandatory consumer rights where they apply).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where a stricter limit is prohibited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account in line with product controls and our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service or others, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, intellectual property, and liability limits to the extent enforceable) survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will adjust the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law (for example by email or an in-product notice). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to our agreement with you concerning the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence may still apply to you where they cannot be waived.
